My Senior Prom Picture

I am 21 years old and currently live in Tallahassee, Florida. I am living in Tallahassee while I am in school at Florida State University. While I currently live in Tallahassee, the place I really call home is Graceville, Florida.

I am a Senior Marketing/Finance major at FSU. I have been attending Florida State's College of Business since the Fall of 2000, when I transferred in from Chipola Junior College with an AA. I plan to graduate from FSU in December of 2002.

While at Florida State, I have been a member of the Marching Chiefs. This organization is comprised of students from virtually every major and area of study at Florida State. Over 400 members strong, the Marching Chiefs perform and entertain at all FSU Home Football Games and select away games as well. I am a member of the Trombone section in Chiefs, also known as the Roamin' Bones.

Before attending FSU, I was a student at Chipola Junior College. Chipola Junior College is a small school in Marianna, Florida. The decision to attend Chipola was an easy one since I was able to save money by living at home while attending. It also allowed me to more easily transfer into the college state of mind. Since I attended a very small high school, I felt that it would be in my best intrest to take this small step first, in order to transition more smoothly.

Before attending CJC, I went to Graceville High School. Graceville is a small town in northwest Florida. Chances are, you have never heard of it and have more than likely never been through it either. If you haven't, you aren't missing much. I attended Graceville High School throughout my high school career, participating in many extra-curricular activities while there. I was a member of the Tiger Pride marching band, as well as Beta Club and Key Club, throughout my time at GHS. I graduated from GHS in 1999.

I am a Diabetic. I was diagnosed with diabetes when I was 6 years old. It has been rough at times, but I am better for it. Since 1991, I have attended Camp Seale Harris, a camp in Alabama for children with diabetes. I attended as a camper for 6 years, as a CIT for 2 years, and have been a Counselor ever since. I have also been involved with Camp Kudzu, a camp in Georgia for diabetic children since the summer of 2000, when the camp was first established.
